I started doing art before I can remember. I just remember enjoying hanging out in my imagination, and seeing the places that lived in there. I have always been a visual creature, so art was the perfect tool for me to express my ideas.
As years passed, my skills evolved, friends and family started to notice, and began making requests for ideas they wanted drawn. This was my introduction to custom art. This was what forced me out of my comfort zone. Drawing what others described was a new challenge. I also loved words, so the more precise a description of a concept they gave, the more vivid I could translate that in to imagery. This was key in making me well rounded. I have drawn, designed, and painted for people from all walks of life, which has given me a very eclectic bag of styles to pull from.
As a kid I liked comic art and cartoons, as a teenager I was obsessed with graffiti (to the point that it got me in to a lot of trouble), and as a young man I went to college where I connected the dots on the areas where I wasn't as experienced. This was very important for my evolution. As I grew I added more styles (fine art, design, traditional, high fashion, abstract, Typography, surrealist, realism, and on and on). Now, as a professional, I welcome all challenges as I continue to expand my game. All of these various styles that I learned have lead me to opportunities to work with Michael Kors, Sony, Samsung, and too many great people to name. Big and small, I put my best in to all of my work.
"Art Quest" is my motto. It is just a reminder to self to always strive to improve through art, not just as a trade, but as a way of life.
I truly feel blessed to be able to do what I love as a career. Thank you for stopping by the site! Feel free to write me with any questions about my art. I am looking forward to hearing your vision and delivering my best.
